Terms of service

If an item has been cut out or started and a cancellation is requested, there will be a 25% cancellation fee, or £10, whichever is greater.

If we have not started work it will be at the our discretion depending on the time and effort already expended as to whether part or all of the deposit will be returned.

You have a 7 day cooling off period after you have paid for your order to be cancel, where a refund will be given through the payment method used by the buyer.

Wait times vary and can be seen displayed on social media pages and the heading on the website.

Wait times do and will vary upon circumstances out of my control such as myself being poorly or my children.  

The tick box you tick at the checkout page is that you agree to the given waiting times either at the top of the website or as stated on social media. This tick box you tick and agree to the aforementioned statement that states:

By selecting this box, I agree I have been informed that the standard wait time is approximately 5-6 weeks. Any delays will be posted on our Facebook page and the heading on the website. It is your responsibility to check for these updates. Please note, all ready to ship and premade items are exempt from this.

Please check listing for any specific time frames.” This tick box on the checkout page is the correct given timeframe not the above information which is given as an example  

Please note that it is 100% your responsibility to check the social media pages or the heading at the top of the website for any updates. You have within your order confirmation email the option to check the status of your order at all times. However unless you receive your dispatch email the order status will not change until said email has been sent to you confirming that your order has been completed and has been dispatched. 

Please also note that I am a mother and wife and on occasion it is necessary for me to look after my children should they become poorly. Mr Mummy Love works from home also however he works a full time job and it is therefore my responsibility to look after my children and or myself, this being said is the main reason why delays happen and why you should check social media or the website. 

Regarding the care of my children outside of school term times such as half term holidays in October/November time, over Christmas Holidays, February holidays, Easter holidays, May holidays and subsequently the six week summer holidays (summer hols wait times will increase to 6 weeks in order to manage both my orders and my children) I will not be working on any orders during these specific times - if you don’t have children ask a friend you know if their kids are on half term holidays as generally it will either be at the same time as my own school holidays or the week before or the week after. 

Wait times do NOT include these school holidays. If your order wait time is 4-5 weeks for example and you order 3 weeks before a half term holiday you will have an additional week or two depending on when you order that will be applied to your wait time due to me not working during the half term holidays.

I will endeavour to post on the website when these half term holidays are happening but I may on occasion forget.

All items are photographed before being sent, however if an item arrives and there is an error with it that is our fault, we will offer to repair/remake and pay for return costs.

If an item is sent back and it not reusable, through a buyers fault, the original fault will be fixed and returned to you, however any damage caused by buyers will not be corrected and replacements WILL NOT be made.

Our standard wait time is approximately 4 weeks and items are cut out between 1 & 2 weeks prior to this.

Prior to your item being cut, we are happy to refund, however once it is cut, there are no refunds.

Items that are personalized are not refundable, unless there is a manufacturing issue, in which case a replacement will be provided at no additional cost.

All items are sent by Royal Mail and tracking details will be provided through email. I am not in control of Royal Mail delivery times, so please allow up to 7 days before contacting me regarding missing deliveries/use the tracking number provided to track items yourself.

All orders which are lost/damaged will be remade at no additional cost to the buyer and will be done as soon as a claim is made through Royal Mail.

All requests for refunds for faulty items must be received within 4 weeks of receipt of item. Any claims made after this date will be dealt with on a case by case basis, however there will be no requirement or guarantee that a refund will be given.

Any and all underwear made by MWML is not refundable or returnable due to hygiene reasons and said items are handmade to your specifications ie your requested size made within your order and therefore are classed as a personalised item. There are no exceptions to this ruling so please order according to specifications or guidance given on listings.

All return postage costs, except where there is a fault in manufacturing, must be met by the buyer.

FORCED RETURNS are not accepted in anyway. If an item is returned and it is deemed as a forced return, any postage paid by buyer to facilitate the forced return will not be refunded nor will the item in the forced return be refunded, Forced returns are classed as an order that is sent back to myself be it from non collection of item stored at your local delivery office or sent back for a refund without prior approval will not be accepted and will be sent back as “RETURN TO SENDER” and no postage will be paid. In the event where a forced return is sent back with no return information, buyer’s information will be provided on the packaging to ensure it is returned to your given known address regardless if that information is now old for example you move home after receiving your order. I HOLD ZERO LIABILITY for any costs incurred in the event I receive a forced return or should your order not be returned to you after I mark package as return to sender and put parcel back in a postbox without additional postage costs. Forced returns will not be accepted in cases where buyer does not read product description and or including any information provided either at top of website/social media or in the tick box agreement prior to placing order. 

All communication with myself and buyer must be done either via this email address only info@madewithmummylove.co.uk or communication via Facebook messenger through my Facebook page Made With Mummy Love. Any other communication methods that are not the methods mentioned above will not be received. If contacting me via website chat function if I’m not available to a chat at that time I will endeavour to reply to your chat via email as I get emailed anytime I’m sent a chat request from website.
